Showmotion™
Showmotion is a diagnostic device developed to support all professionals working in orthopedics and sports, with a particular focus on surgeons, physiatrists, and physiotherapists. It supports objective functional assessment in real time and can be used in various settings (clinics, hospitals, gyms, rehabilitation centres, training centres, etc.).
Users are able to formulate a more comprehensive diagnosis by supplementing the medical evaluation and diagnostic reports (such as CT scans, X-rays, MRIs, etc.) with data from the Showmotion device that provides quantitative kinematic information, allowing for comparisons over time.
With a quick measurement, it is easy to highlight all compensatory movements adopted by the subject and identify dysfunctions even at an early stage (before they become symptomatic).
How does it work?
Showmotion detects the patient’s movement using a series of sensors placed on the body.
The procedure allows for real-time analysis of the movement. Depending on the patient’s activity, the software calculates a series of kinematic variables that assist the professional in evaluating the health status of the joint.
The device captures the movement in real time, generating output in both graphical and numerical formats.
Showmotion is able to perform and support diagnosis in a five-minute session. The device is easily transportable, allowing the analysis to be carried out any place and at any time.
Shoulder Pacemaker™
The Shoulder Pacemaker is a wearable electro-stimulator designed for patients experiencing unbalanced muscle activation and shoulder pain.
The Shoulder Pacemaker is used for rehabilitation purposes and induces muscle contraction through conductive electrodes placed on the area of interest, influencing the timing of activation.
It can be utilized to stimulate the periscapular muscles that are not properly activated in patients with various shoulder conditions. This is accomplished by integrating advanced sensing technology with electrical stimulation.
